NAPLAN Preparatory Workshops

WHAT IS NAPLAN?

The National Assessment Program or NAPLAN is an annual assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9. NAPLAN tests include reading, writing, spelling, and numeracy. NAPLAN 2025 will be held from the 12th March to the 24th March 2025.

NAPLAN consists of 4 tests:

Language conventions:

This test covers grammar, spelling and punctuation in context. Questions can be multiple choice or short answers.

Writing:

Students are given a stimulus or prompt and are asked to produce a response in narrative, persuasive or imaginative writing.

Reading:

Students are given some short pieces of text and demonstrate their knowledge and interpretation of language conventions in multiple choice and short-answer questions.

Numeracy:

Students demonstrate their knowledge of mathematical topics and numeracy skills in multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank or short-answer questions.

NAPLAN 2025 Preparatory workshops

For many students, preparation for the NAPLAN test can be stressful but our NAPLAN preparatory workshops will provide your child with the support they require to approach the test with confidence, and the skills necessary to achieve good results.

Duration: 90 minutes for Year 3 students

Price: $35 per student (minimum 4 students – maximum 10)

Service location: at our centre, 209-213 Beardy Street, level 1 in Armidale

LANGUAGE CONVENTIONS and WRITING for Year 3 students:

Saturday the first of March 2025 – 2 to 3.30pm

NUMERACY and READING

Saturday 8th March 2023 – 2 to 3.30pm
